Dr. Raye felt something go down his throat. He choughed a little, but he sat up. He looked at Yami, and concentrated hard on not falling over. "G-get me my bag...." he said in a throaty whisper.

Dr. Raye shifted, and he opened his bag. He pulled out a few jars, ate some of the things inside them, and he was back on his feet within minutes. He looked at Yami, puzzled. "Why did you attack me...?" he started putting things back in his breifcase.

Dr. Raye smiled faintly. "Did you want me to change you back or something? I'm afraid I don't know how to do that." he frowned. He thought he saw someone. "Who's there? Show yourself!"

Chad had been watching. When he heard his dad call to him he stepped out of the bushes, kind of embarassed. "Sorry, Dad. I just heard some yelling so I came to see what was wrong." he caught sight of Yami. "You...!" he crouched into fighting position, ready to spring. Dr. Raye sighed and said, "No, Chad. Don't attack. Let her explain herself."
Chad looked at Yami warily and said, "Well, go ahead."

Mara flew in and streched her wings. She was still hurt from her battle. She saw Mr. Raye and Chad and Yami and flew down. She landed and shifted, "Hey guys whats up." and she looked at Mr. raye and said "I was wondering if you could look at my wing for me. It hurts like hell."

Dr. Raye smiled. "Certainly." He stood up and walked over to Mara. "Hmm, just a cut and a few broken feather shafts. Should heal up soon." He grabbed his bag and put some salve on the cut and bandaged it up. "I suggest that you take it easy with that wing, ok? We don't need more broken feather shafts."
Chad looked at his father, dumbfounded. "But...dad...shes on the other side!" Dr. Raye looked at Chad and simply said, "I will not withhold medical help from anyone who neesds it."
Chad just looked at him glumly and walked off into the forest.

Yami is now is in the bushes getting ready to run when the Doctor's voice stopped her. |
