Long raven black flowed out behind her, midnight blue eyes shone in the light, and her pitch black wings glided through the air, carrying her along with them on the wind. Riley was in a cool and calm mood at the moment, and she was just enjoying the feel of the breeze on her face. She looked around at all the trees surrounding the area. She dove down and glided over the treetops of the forest. She let her finger tips brush over the leaves, making a few fall to the ground below. |

I walked lazily down the path in the forest, enjoying myself. Today was a warm day that caused people to feel as lazy as I did right now. When I heard leaves rustle behind me, I turned to look. When I saw the gleam of black wings above me I smirked and began running along with whoever was above, watching and deciding to make casual conversation. "Hey up there! In the sky!" |

Riley heard the voice call out from below, and she shifted her gaze to see someone following her under the trees, and she became curious. Was he talking to her? She was about to find out. She pulled her wings in and went for a landing, gracefully placing down in a small clearing where it would just barely fit her wing span at a certain angle. She turned to face him, and gave a half smile. "Hey." She replied in greeting. The boy better be glad he caught her in a calm mood. |

I skidded to a stop and grinned. My oh my, she was pretty. "Hey. What's up? I asked, walking over and leaning on a tree, crossing my arms over my chest and looking her up and down. She was pretty and so were her wings. They matched her hair. "Other than you, that is." I said, amusement sparkling in my eyes. |

Riley noticed his roaming eyes and smirked. knowing many men thought she was very attractive, as she was a vampire and an angel. Those two creatures being beautiful and good looking to begin with. "Nothing really." She replied. She paused for a moment, before saying, "Enjoying the view?" She asked her eyes fluttering. |

I laughed, grinning and nodding admiringly. "Yes, actually. You're very beautiful." I paused, because I'd wanted to say her name, but I didn't know what it was. So I raised my eyebrow. "So, beautiful, what's your name?" I asked, looking her up and down once more before looking into her eyes--which were beautiful too, now that I noticed. |

She couldn't help but blush a slight bit hearing his compliment, but she smirked instead of entering her shy state of mind. "I'm Riley. What about you, handsome?" She asked, her eyes holding a sly gleam to them. |

I chuckled, my grin turning to an amused smirk. "My name's Noah. But you can just call me Noah. That name's reserved for all the beauty's I meet." I said, winking and going back to grinning. Oh how I loved stupid, cheesy jokes that were probably only humorous to me. |

Riley smiled with a slight blush on her cheeks, her mind and heart beginning to shy away into her shy personality and emotion. She gave a small laugh at his joke, actually finding it kinda funny. "Alright, Noah. It's nice to meet you." She replied with her voice sounding very soft. |

I tipped my hat then pushed off of the tree, walking over to her. "So, Miss Riley, what are you up to on this fine winter day? Taking a lazy flight or what?" I asked, stopping about a foot away from her and slipping my hands into my jacket pockets. |

Riley felt her cheeks heat up knowing that the red was probably showing against her pale skin, but she tried to stay calm. "You could say that." She replied smiling, and letting her wing tips lightly touch the snow. |

Riley felt her face turn another color of red, but she shyly took his hand with a smile placed gently on her rosy red lips that stood out. "Alright." She replied seeming slightly flustered by Noah's actions. |

Riley wasn't quite sure how to answer his questions, as she was over two hundred years old, and that would be hard to explain her life. Also, about her... she was kinda confusing. "Well... I kinda have personality issues..." She replied looking away to the side feeling a bit embarrassed. Who would like her if they couldn't control her? |
