I raised my eyebrow, glancing over. "Oh? Wouldn't seem like it. What do you mean by that, Miss Riley?" I asked, moving a little closer.

Riley felt her blush deepen and hoped that maybe she'd stay in her shy mood, instead of changing to something worse, like paranoid or irritated. "Um... I tend to... act different at random times... and it's not always a good thing." She replied slightly nervous.

I raised my eyebrow, not exactly understanding but finding it intriguing. "Really? That's interesting. Like... bipolar? Or schizophrenic?" I asked curiously, looking down at her and smiling. We were on a clear path so I didn't have to worry about tripping.

Riley shrugged a bit, not quite sure what to call her mental problem for a specific term in her case as she's only had it since a battle in her old home town. A small village about two hundred years ago. "Not sure what to call it. But I tend to scare people sometimes." She said, not exactly meaning the sudden change in behavior.

I raised my eyebrow. "What? How so?" I asked, ducking my head as we came upon a low-hanging branch of a tree.

Riley sighed and she lifted her hand, her palm facing outward and a hole opened up in the air, as if she had crated some type of portal. Suddenly, a huge scythe appeared in her hands and the hole was gone. "This is why." She replied holding up the hug weapon.

I stared, my eyes going wide. My expression stayed blank for a moment before a huge grin spread across my face. "Woah! That's so cool! Man, what an awesome scythe~!" I said, admiringly. I was a weapon admirer. I collected them for a hobby and only used certain ones. I had yet to find an unused scythe. Especially one as beautiful as this.

Riley looked at Noah almost as if he was crazy for not being afraid of her giant weapon, and she looked into his eyes trying to read his emotions. "Seriously? You're not in the least bit scared?" She asked him.

I shook my head. "No! Not at all!" I said happily. "It's a beautiful scythe... I know, I know, it's a weapon. But you don't seem very dangerous at the moment and you just brought it out to show me so... all I can do right now is admire it." I grinned. "It suits you."

Riley's confused look slowly turned into a grin and she looked her scythe over seeing what he meant, though suiting her was a bit of an overstatement. She was great at using it, yes, but it was huge compared to her. "Thanks!" She said grinning.

I nodded, "Uhuh, you're welcome!" I said before looking at her questioningly. "Are you good at wielding it in battle? God, I'd love to see that."

Riley swiped the scythe through the air, and only a few moments later did one leaf sliced perfectly in half, flutter down into her outstretched hand. "That answer your question?" She asked smiling.

I laughed, nodding--impressed. "Yes. That does answer my question."

Riley smiled and let her scythe vanish, having it go back to where it was before she summoned it to her hand to show Noah what scared people. "A lot of people try to stay away from me because of it." She said with a small sigh.

I then continued walking with her, going back to swinging our arms. "I'd think more people would want to get close to you because of that." I said in amusement. "You know, get on your good side."
