I then realized I needed to flip the meat over and happily skipped to the stove. Pulling out my super-large spatula I lifted the lid and, with a grunt for affect, flipped the meat over. "Unnngh! There. Just a few more minutes and we'll have some tasty burgers~." I said, skipping back happily.

Calvin got into a stealth crouch and started to come closer to the mansion.

Kalla smiled hearing Rosalitta, but for some reason, felt as if something else was going to happen, and she searched the area with her soul for other living creatures. There where the people upstairs, the owl outside, and... something else, something much bigger.

[Moon]

Calvin felt his skin tingle. He had felt this sensation once before. "Shit, someone knows I'm here..." he crouched even lower and took aim at the window. He was going to shoot the part that makes the glass go everywhere.

I sighed as I felt my change coming. Time to go back to boring, normal me. "Hey, I'm about to change into a shrimpy, short-haired, stiff girl. When I do, will you tell me to lighten up? I'm a real drag when I'm her." I said with a sigh, but my smile still on my face.

[Moon]

Calvin undid the safety on the gun and carefully took aim. He slid his finger towards the trigger, then with precise accuracy he squeezed the trigger and shot the kitchen window in the bottom right corner.
Glass flew everywhere.

As soon as the glass shattered, I shifted into my normal form and went on immediate defense, glad that no one was near the window or me as I whipped out my sword and headed towards the window, ready to jump into action. "Who's there?" I asked, my voice quiet... though in this form it was pretty-damn loud. I usually whispered. I was like quiet Asha from Outsourced.

Calvin sat there quietly and smelled the closest form next to him. No, this one was not a wolf...it was the other one. He stood up, looking badass and simply scary with his great, hulking mass and many scars, not to mention the large gun in his hands. "Me." he said. His voice was low enough to be a growl. He stared at her with his orange eyes and practically dared her to challenge him.

I stared but immediately accepted the challenge, jumping through the window and running at him, wielding my sword. Sure, it wasn't the best method. Sure, I was most-likely going to get hurt 'cause he was going to be an unfair doodoo-head and use guns. But did I care? No. My job was to keep my guest safe and sound. So... I just came at him and hoped for the best.

[Moon]

Calvin was caught off guard, and he aimlessly took a shot, hitting the window frame. "Shit! These bullets ain't cheap!" he glowered at her and shouldered his gun. "I'll just use my hands...." he came at her and grabbed her sword, not caring that the blade was cutting his hands. He smiled wickedly and wrenched it out of her hands, sliding it into his belt.

Kalla saw the entire scene, as Katey was shaking violently, and that was not cool in Kalla's book, scaring her cat like that was a big no no and an issue with her. "Hey! Ugly!" She called out, and stormed over after carefully setting Katey on the table. "You scared my cat. That is not okay." Her eyes suddenly turned red as her vampire blood boiled, and with a sudden burst, her wings came out, sending a whirlwind spinning, then it vanished. Her huge wings expanded almost the entire length of the mansion.

If I wasn't so concerned about getting my enchanted sword back I might have glanced over my shoulder to look at what was going on behind me. I mean whatever it was sent my hair floating up momentarily. But instead I just lunged forward, one hand aiming for his... special, most painful spot and the other reaching out for my sword.

[Moon]

Calvin went down like any other guy. "Good god...that's some right hook..." the sword fell out of his belt, clattering to the ground. He stumbled back to his feet and saw the wings for the first time. ""

[Asteria]

Kalla let her fangs grow out and she took off into the air, then once she had the chance, she dived directly at Calvin, aiming to grab the gun. Katey sat back watching terrified, her fur standing on end. "I don't like filthy demons scaring my cat!" She shouted as she closed in.

Calvin opened fired at her wings, moving quickly backwards from her as well.
