"Well... I wanted to... hang around.." Chase lied, "I thought this may be an open party or something. I was watching you three..." He licked his lips, thinking off their wet, metalic tasting blood flowing down his throat and finally being statified.

"Well, it's not. Go away," Luke snapped. He knew the guy standing in front of them was a supernatural and he didn't like it at all.

Chase was not going to take Luke’s words seriously. Chase could tell that this guy knew he wasn’t a normal human, and Chase expected that Luke also wasn’t a normal human either. But he liked a challenge. He liked challenges, because they usually came with a reward. His eyes flickered from each of the three humans, wanting nothing more than to suck them dry of all the blood they had. Once he was full, he’d bring back the rest for the other vampires of his side, like Adam. They would feast.
“I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere. Not without you tasty morsels.” Chase said, his eyes glowing. Mirai squeaked and realised he was something like Frost was. She had run into Frost before, and had learned that the world was much different then she had thought it had been.

"You're not wanted here vampire," Luke said, in a low voice, so that the other two couldn't pick up on the vampire part.
Violet squeezed her hand tightly around her knife. She could tell that this guy wasn't like other guys they'd run into. He was different; he seemed... powerful. "Luke," she said, "let's just go. We don't have to fight him."

“Run if you want, I’ll just catch up to you both later… after I finish with the girl you’ve abandoned by doing so…” Chase said, smirking. Mirai looked panicked; surely these two people wouldn’t abandon her and let this... whatever he was… hurt her? Chase smirk grew wider when he heard the male hiss "vampire". So this guy knew what he was.

"We wouldn't leave you behind," Violet told Mirai in a hushed tone.
"I'll fight you if you leave these two alone," Luke told Chase. "If you have to pick on girls to get what you want then you aren't even worth fighting anyways."

“I’ll only fight if I can’t get what I want. I want what I want and I’ll never give up trying.” Chase hisses. He hadn’t drunk blood for a while, and he was starving. He wanted this over faster, but would take the time to get what he wanted if he really wanted it. “Why don’t you let me have the girls… and I’ll let you live?”
Mirai nodded at Violet, although still scared.

Violet could tell how scared Mirai was and became very angry with this stranger.

"That's a shame..." Chase said looking at all three of them. "It looks like... I'll have to kill you all." Mirai gasped, and prepaired herself for the attack, although slightly trembling. She wondered why this guy was so obsessed with killing them. She hadn't realised that he was a vampire like Frost; but merely thought he was some creepy criminal man.
