When pain struck me I dropped her body--which had gone limp in my arms--to the ground before falling to my knees, gripping my head and letting out a painful screech as the pain seared through my mind. "What the hell?!" Was she poisoned or something?! |

Alex knocked out the last vampire then stalked over to the vampire "No nothing is wrong with her blood" he said it coming out as a growl he stopped short of the vampire "Get out of here before the pain gets worst."

I turned and glared, "You... you..." I then lurched forward in an attempt to attack, bearing my fangs and curling my fingers as if they were claws. I could take on a wolf. I mean I was the best vampire in town. |

Alex increased the pain, dodging but feeling alittle pain where the vampire had barely gotten him. He didnt have to worry about any of the others they pretty much had took care of each other. He didnt have to worry about the weak vampire so he put all his foucus on him.

Alex sighed with reliefe and warriy he transfored from his red and white wolf form to his normal human. He went over to Lilabell he could tell she was still alive seeing her breathing lightly. He looked aroud the park he could hear people getting closer wondering what was going on. He picked her up and headed to hide not wanting them to get caught.

- Nine Hours Later -
The darkness slowly filled with light and before I knew it I was staring at the red of the inside of my eyelids. What...? Why wasn't I dead? Jack was supposed to kill me. Ugh, so unreliable. I'd grown accustomed to the idea of being dead and even welcomed it. So why on earth didn't he deliver on his promise?
I groaned, my head hazy. I didn't really remember anything. My body felt numb and I felt like I couldn't move. I could vaguely remember losing too much blood... I probably needed to get something if I wanted to get better. But did I? God... hnn. Where was I? Did the jerk want to wait till I was awake to deliver? If so... God that pissed me off.
I groaned again and stayed still, deciding to not open my eyes. With the groan, I thanked the numbness and fuzzy head. I wouldn't be too aware of the pain or what was going on when he finally stole my life... which was also why I didn't open my eyes.
'Dear God, I may not deserve it, but please have mercy on my soul and have him be swift in my murder.'

Alex looked toward her wondering if she was finally waking up after nine hours. They sat in one of the empty rooms in the cave taking her here since she needed a Healer. Thanks to Nuka she was bandge up and on the way to healing. He brushed her mind and could tell she was awake but he sat back and waited for her to open her eyes.

When a few minutes passed and no attack came, I gave in and cracked my eyes. Slowly, I blinked until they became adjusted to the light of the... cave? At least that's what it looked like judging by the roof. What the hell? I groaned again and looked at everything that I could without turning my head. I still didn't want to move. I was too afraid of the pain.

Alex looked over to her and put his book down "Would you like some pain mediciton?" he asked feeling the pain he pulled away alittle mental.

I jumped because I hadn't been expecting that voice, and then I let out a long groan of pain. Oh God did this hurt. What the hell? I didn't understand it but managed to croak a scornful, "Yes."

Alex got up and got the medicine for her and a glass of water "Here you go and a glass of water to wash it down if you need to" he said.

I was glad that I as slightly sitting up as I reached out and took the pill and glass. I threw the pill back then quickly guzzled the water, my head beginning to spin. Ugh. "I... I need blood." Drinking the water made me aware of my extreme thirst for blood and even more aware of my lightheaded dizziness.

"Alright but it wont be humans or fresh" Alex said "but ill go get some." He turned and left heading for the kitchen to get her some blood as fast as possible.`

I just closed my eyes and relaxed, waiting. When he got back, I'd have to ask him why on earth he saved me. Dammit, I had to be thankful to him for that. Jeez.
