Chapter 1
I sat at home with my mom dad. It was a rainy night and a nasty storm was on its way they were about to sit down for dinner when the power went out. Thats when it happen there was a high pitch scream. "Mom?" she asked her voice came outt as whisper then the lights flickered back on and some stranger stood in the middle of the living room.
The stranger was really pale and he had dark long wet hair that hung in his eyes. But I could see them there were a frice golden color and his teeth. She would never forget those long sharp fangs that you could see even while he stood there. He dropped my mother and she dropped to the ground lifeless.
The guy didnt even look at her mother again he started for me. I shrank back against the wall i havent been so scared in my life before. But before the guy could reach me he was stop by my dad. The stranger hissed in annoynce and push my father out of the way. I slide to the ground and watched as the stranger went to my father. My father was out he was bleeding on the head and he had been pushed into the side table. It had had a glass bowl on it now it laid under him broken. The stranger kneeled down and bit down on my dads neck.
I knew I had to get out of there I snuck out into the kitchen then out of the kitchen door. I started to run down the street just trying to get away from the house. I finally stop and sat down against the building I was crying tears falling down my cheeks.
It was still raining but I didnt move I stayed under a little shelter. I jumped at the light hand on my shoulder I looked up to see one of the local cops. I was soaking wet by now my flaming red hair sticking to my face and a dark red. "Jenny?" the cop asked I shook my head yes and then he contuined "we have been looking for you all night are you all right?"
I ignored him "My mom and my dad? where are they?" I asked.
The cop looked at her "Jenny I'm-" he started.
"No! there alive they they cant be dead" I said.
"Jenny you need to come with me you will be going to live with your Aunt in Bay creek" the cop said "I'm sorry...."
The cop took me back to the house I almost screamed but he pushed me on. My mom and dad was gone I felt tears start to come again but I promised herself then and there I wouldnt cry anymore. I was gonna get revenge........
I ran upstairs to my room and bang the door shut and started to pack herself. I was about done when something brushed against my mind.
'This is not over I will get you......' a voice said in my head.
My hand froze in midair I looked around no one was in her room and her window was tightly shut. I hurridly backed the rest of my stuff then got out of there. I about ran into the cop coming down the stairs "Ready?" he asked.
"Y-yes" I said. He took my bags and I followed him to the car.
Chapter 2-
I looked out the window ironicly it was raining out just like last night. I felt like crying I was alone and i was going to my Aunts. Who I didnt even know very well.
I stared out of the window the cop was taking her to Bay creek it was only about an hour away. I didnt answer anythign he said and didnt bother to try and talk to him. They had tryed to get me to tell what happen but I wouldnt say a word about it I only shook my head saying I cant then stayed quiet. I knew that it had been a vampire that had killed my parents but I knew no one would believe me. So I stayed quiet.
I knew that they wouldnt believe me so why say anything. I also knew if they tryed to catch the killer that the vampire would have killed the cops.
It was finally noon and they were just entering Bay Creek. The town was kinda small by the looks of it and compared to Chicago. The cop took her to a random street and stop at a small house. It was completly white whith a portch that went all the way to the back. It had a swing one side and the door was a Dark color wood. "Here we are" the cop said.
"Thanks" I said quietly. I got out and went to the back and grabbed my backpack and my suitcase and went to the front door. One good thing it had stopped raining though it wasnt sunny out but very gloomy. I knocked on the front door and a middle aged women answered the door. She had medium curly red browm hair and dark green eyes. The women was my mothers mom.
"Oh Jenny your here!" she said "I havent seen you since you were 4. You have grown so much."
"Thanks Aunt Tina" I said.
"Well come in dear you must me cold and still very upset" Aunt Tina said.
Aunt Tina took her suitcase and took her to one of the empty rooms. It was pretty big the room was a dark blue it had a desk by the window with a laptop and a bookself next to it filled with books. The bed was pushed up against the far wall and there was a tv but it was pretty bare.
"Your closet is through there and I'll leave you be I'll be down stairs if you need me."
Aunt Tina turned and left leaving her alone in the half empty room. I started to unpack just to have something to do to keep me busy. My mind wasnt busy though it kept seeing that same guy over and over again I couldnt stand it. He said he would be back and she didnt know how to defend her self. I found my laptop and started it up so I ccould try and figure out what might help protect me.
The first few sites were no help at all some rping sites and a few that had little information. The third was old stories about vampires over the world and what happened.
I get out a notebook out to take some notes and stuff to help. This is stupid am sitting inside on a warm day looking up stuff about vampires. But those red eyes are haunting m I cant them out of mind. No matter how hard I try.
After a few minaties she had enough information. There were differnt types of vampires some more dangerous then others. Most were alittle paler then humans and eye colored varied some having red and some having normal eye colors. They were fast and strong but wood work against all types but some could also be hurt with any weapon. Crosses didnt work or garlic against any vampire or holy water. Those were just myths.
I sighed and turned off the laptop and went downstairs Aun Tina was doing the dishes. "Um...I'm going to go do alittle shopping" I said.
"Alright dont stay out to late you know how things are more active then night" Aunt Tina said without turning around.
I almost forze but looked outside it was light out enough but it was getting late. She grabbed the cars keys and headed for the mall.
